Set Yourself Up For Success This New Year

It’s 2008 and just as you did last year, and the year before that, you’ve probably set some New Year’s resolutions. By the time you get to February, these will be long forgotten as you get caught up with the daily grind of life.

Why not make a fresh start this year and do things differently by following this simple 5 step process. It’s easy, effective and very practical. It will help you make the changes that you know you need to make to bring new happiness into your life . . . starting right here, right now.

STEP 1: ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS

Take a few moments and reflect upon the past 12 months. Think about the high points and low points. Spend at least 5 minutes reviewing your past achievements. Then write down your answers to the following questions:

-My biggest achievements in 2007 were

-Some of the things I wanted to achieve but didn’t are

-What stopped me was

STEP 2: CREATE YOUR FUTURE

As you sit here, contemplating the year ahead, realize that many of the things you do want in your life CAN happen. So cut out three paper circles and title them ’same,’ ‘better’ and ‘best.’ These are your 2008 film reels. Now think about the year ahead and what you really want out of all the areas in your life-relationships, career, money, personal growth, health, family and friends, social life and your physical environment. Then pick up the film reel you want to choose: “same,” “better,” or “best.” Now write the script for that film.

STEP 3: MAKE IT FEEL REAL

Walt Disney once said, “If you can dream it, you can do it.” What you imagine is a powerful precursor to success. That’s why your next activity is to create a Vision Board. Simply go through some magazines and cut out pictures that visually represent what your achievement looks like, feels like, smells like, and sounds like. Pick out images, colors, words, and patterns that best represent your most important dreams and achievements for the year ahead. Then make a collage of your pictures. Reflect upon these and really feel what it would be like to achieve your dreams.

STEP 4: PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE JOURNEY

Whenever you instigate any change, you create resistance. After all, it’s so much more comfortable sitting in the comfort zone isn’t it? But if you want things to be different, then you’re going to have to make changes. In a journal, draw three columns going across the page and title them ‘the change,’ ‘the obstacle,’ and ‘the solution.’ In the first column, list the changes that you will need to make to bring your 2008 aspirations into reality. In the second column write any obstacles and finally, brainstorm and come up with some solutions. You will notice, that when there is a will, there’s a way!

STEP 5: PRIORITIZE AND GO FOR IT!

Now it’s time to summarize and prioritize. Being focused is important for turning ideas into action. Put the first things first, and make sure your goals are specific and achievable and that you have a ’support person’ to keep you on target. To finish, review all the good work you have done so far and make a list of no more than 5 goals. Nominate somebody to whom you will be accountable to, and determine how and when you will update them.

Finally, remember that you can do anything if you really put your mind to it. How To Make Your Personal Brand “Sizzle”

Many entrepreneurs **** selling. The trouble is you can’t have a business if there are no sales! So what would it be like if you didn’t have to sell yourself at all? There’s an old marketing mantra that says, “It’s not the sausage that sells, it’s the sizzle.” What would it be like if you and your personal brand had so much “sizzle” that people searched you out?

Here are five ways to shift from “selling” to “sizzling”:

1. STAY CONNECTED TO YOUR PASSION

Running your own business takes courage. And there’s a good reason why you embarked on this journey in the first place. What was it? Remember why you chose this particular business as opposed to something else, because there’s something about it you really love. Think about the difference you’ve made to your customers lives, helping them to be more confident. Reignite your sense of passion and purpose, and you’ll notice an immediate shift in your attitude and enthusiasm.

2. CREATE A “BUZZ” ABOUT YOU

We all know people who can walk into a room and create a buzz. There is something about their energy that is really compelling. And often they have an air of mystery about them. YOU are your product, and as a personal stylist you will invariably stand out at any event. That’s because your sharp sense of dress speaks volumes. Not everyone has that advantage. Add some “energy” to that, and you’ll be positively glowing. Get that “energy” by sleeping well, eating well, exercising well and drinking well. Try it, it works.

3. BECOME A “TIP DROPPER”

“Tip dropping” is the same thing as name dropping, except that instead of casually mentioning names of important people, you’re casually giving out valuable tips. You can comment on someone’s dress and then say something like “just a tip for you, did you know that you could really enhance that by….” This one tip could totally wow them, and make them curious enough to ask questions about you and what you do. A great door opener.

4. FOCUS ON YOUR IDEAL CLIENT

It’s easy to get desperate and cast your net wide. But this is rarely effective as a small business with limited resources. Instead, get smart and get focused. Think about the type of client you just absolutely adore working with. Now typecast them; describe their general age, sex, where they live, what they do, where they hang out and what they read. Give this group a name (e.g., “the corporate flyers” or the “the divorced divas”). Then make sure your marketing message “speaks” to the needs, wants and desires of this group.

5. NOW JUST GET IN FRONT OF THEM!

Why be the best kept secret? You offer a great service and you’re passionate about what you do. There are people out there that really need you. So how can you make it easy for them to find you? The best way is to go to the places where they hang out, or write articles in the magazines they read. Once you’re there, let your enthusiasm and passion shine through, and then nature will do the rest.

At the end of the day, people buy people, and they buy people they like and trust. So make it easy for people to find you and instead of thinking “selling,” think “sizzling!”

A 3 Point Plan To A Brand New You

It’s a New Year and a fantastic time to give your personal brand a jolly-good overhaul. You are like a diamond with many facets. So why not show some of your facets to the world?

Here is a 3-point plan for bringing out your best this New Year:

1. RETHINK YOUR PERSONAL IDENTITY

Are you tired of always being asked to take the minutes because you’re “the organized one?” Or never being taken seriously because you’re “the funny one?” Or always getting stuck with the numbers job because you’re “the analytical one?” People only see what we choose to project-either consciously or subconsciously. So how about thinking outside the box of “good old you” and adding a bit of spice to your personality.

Here’s a five step plan for doing this:

1. Ask five friends to describe you in just five words (and be open!). Pool the results together and pick the two core qualities that are most important to you.

2. Get the same friends to tell you what qualities they’d like to see you bring out more. Pool the results together and pick just one quality you’d like to emphasize over the next three months.

3. Create your brand message with the final list of qualities (e.g. I am dynamic, organized and empathetic).

4. Make a list of changes you need to make if you live and breathe this brand message in every part of your life.

5. Take action. Be radical. Make it happen.

2. CHANGE YOUR PERSONAL STYLE

Changing your style can be one of the quickest and cheapest ways to bring out your best self. If you look good, you’ll feel good. So what is the best way to reinvent your personal style? Who better to ask than style diva, Nicky Hambleton-Jones, presenter of 10 Years Younger and founder of www.tramp2vamp.com.

“The quickest way to start is to ask people what your current style says about you and compare this to the brand message you would like to give out,” says Nicky. “If there is a discrepancy between the two, work with a personal stylist to identify the best way to close the gap without losing site of who you are.”

Nicky’s top tips are to:

- define what message you want your style to give your audience

- capitalize on your strengths and bring them to the forefront

- be comfortable and confident with everything you wear

- avoid following the latest fashion trends

- don’t lose sight of the person you are

3. DEVELOP YOUR PERSONAL PRESENCE

You know people with a great personal presence as soon as they walk into the room. They have that “je ne sais quoi” about them. They’re confident and very comfortable in their own skin. Only 7% of our personal impact comes from what we say and a whopping 93% comes from how we say it with our voice, ****** expression and body language.

So take another look at your brand message. How aligned are you really? Here are some out of the box ways of developing your personal presence:

- practice deep diaphragmatic breathing to bring more volume to your voice

- take a singing class to help extend the range of your voice

- do a Pilates class to improve your posture

- try laughter yoga to bring a twinkle to your eye

- do a day course in modelling to learn how to walk well in stilettos

- walk up the stairs at work to retain that healthy and vibrant glow

- try ball room dancing to improve your natural sense of rhythm

- do something “stretching,” like rock climbing, sky diving or even pole dancing

Gulp!

Every year we face challenges, ones that require us to step outside our comfort zone and brave the unknown. We feel the fear in the pit of our stomachs, yet deep down we know it’s time to meet the challenges head on. Perhaps you’re stuck in a rut and you want to change something in your career: learn a new skill, change roles, go part-time or put yourself up for promotion. Or you’ve had a life-changing event thrust upon you-an illness, divorce or a real knock to your confidence-and you’ve got no choice but to embrace it.

Whatever challenge you’re facing this New Year, you always have a choice. Deal with it now? Or deny it …and deal with it later?

The Gulp! philosophy is simple. Challenges are good. They force us outside our comfort zone. They give us a reason to stop and reflect upon what’s truly important. And they can become the catalyst for big shifts in our life opening us up to new possibilities.

Here is my 7 day program to help you to face your fears and step up to the challenges in your life this year.

DAY 1: DARE & DEFY

The challenge is there, whether you like it or not. So what are you going to do about it? Face your challenge head on by writing it down and naming it. Set yourself a deadline for achieving it and make the pivotal decision to go for it.

DAY 2: BREAKDOWN & BREAKTHROUGH

The biggest thing holding you back is fear; fear of the unknown, fear of failure and the list of fears go on. Rather than tar the whole situation with the same brush, break it down and identify the specific fear trigger points. Put strategies in place to minimize these and then focus on the positive benefits rather than the negative possibilities.

DAY 3: CENTER & CONNECT

When you silence your mind and connect to your deeper wisdom, there is no fear. Here there is only what is aligned to your true essence and what feels right. Spend time centering yourself; meditating, taking walks in nature, doing yoga or simply breathing. Listen to what your wise inner sage has to say.

DAY 4: IMAGINE & INVENT

This challenge could be a catalyst for really great things to come. When you shut up the chit chat and fears that plague your mind, you create “space” for new ideas and insights to emerge. So spend some time at a café, in the park or with a group of friends brainstorming new ideas and expanding the options open to you.

DAY 5: PLAN & PREPARE

Now it’s time to choose a course of action, put together a plan and start moving forward. The C.I.G.A.R. model is brilliant for this - Current Reality, Ideal Outcome, Gaps, Actions and Review. Make sure you keep your energy levels high with good food, plenty of water and fitful sleep.

DAY 6: FOCUS & FLOW

As you step forward and move into the “unknown,” let go of control and learn how to simply “be in the flow.” Let your intuition and instinct guide you. When you have to make a choice or a decision, tune in to the situation and listen to what your gut feelings says. As you know, it’s usually right!

DAY 7 : GULP! & GO

You’ve done the thinking and you’ve done the preparing. You’ve even built some foot bridges. Now it’s time to take that leap of faith. So tie up any loose ends and just Gulp! and go for it. You’ll find it a lot easier than you think!

Finally, stepping up to challenges in our life can be the precursor to very powerful breakthroughs. If you’d like some extra support and inspiration to stay motivated and on track, why not sign up for my free downloadable One Big Gulp! Kit, which you will find at www.onebiggulp.com. Beat Procrastination This New Year

It’s a New Year with probably yet another long list of resolutions. But will you actually do them? Or are you the type of person that has the best of intentions and sets goals but can never seem to get started on them, or you half-start them and never find the time or motivation to finish them?

Well don’t worry, you’re not alone! We all suffer from procrastination at some point in our life. The good news is that there is a cure. Just think “SNOW” and follow these 4 steps:

STEP 1: STOP

The reason you procrastinate is because the emotional force or feeling isn’t strong enough to propel you to take action forward. A positive feeling is being counteracted by a negative feeling, making you feel neutral, unmotivated and leaving you sitting on the fence. The problem comes when we feel guilty about it. This adds to the emotional hot pot! So the first step is to simply STOP rather than struggle.

STEP 2: NOTICE

Be observant. What is it that you’re actually avoiding? What is driving the negative emotion or feeling for the activity at hand? What are you afraid might happen? Writers are notorious procrastinators. With good intentions they’ll sit down in front of the key board, but will quickly become distracted by the pile of washing in the corner, that layer of dust on the shelves and those dishes that need washing. For writers, usually it’s the fear of not writing anything readable that stops them from writing at all. This is the counter-force. Notice what your counter-force is.

STEP 3: ORDER

When you bring order into a situation, it is incredible how it can make things feel a little simpler. So the best thing to do is to is take out a piece of paper and simply write a list of all the steps involved. The secret is to break them down into really detailed small steps (e.g., take the file off the shelf, place it on the table, open it to page 10, etc.). You’ll find yourself whizzing through your list and it’s this momentum that carries you through the rest of the task.

STEP 4: WHISTLE

Yes, you read correctly. Once you’ve written your list, simply take the first step and whistle while you work. Try it doing it now without smiling! You’ll notice that it quickly shifts your mood and makes you realize how ridiculous you’re being. It’ll help you take that all important first step, and then motivate you to move on to the next one. By taking small steps forward, before you know it you’ll have finished completely. And what’s more, you would have done it with a smile on your face too!

Finally, don’t let procrastination hold you back from reaching your goals and highest potential this year. If you’d like some extra support and inspiration to stay motivated and on track, why not sign up for my free downloadable One Big Gulp! Kit, which you will find at www.onebiggulp.com. 10 Ways To Say No To Fear This New Year

It’s a New Year and a new set of resolutions. But how many will you actually see through to the end? And how many will fall by the wayside because of one simple four lettered word . . . FEAR.

Fear gets to the best of us, whether it is fear of failure, fear of success or even fear of fear. All of us have experienced fear at some point in our lives and it can be a real stumbling block that holds us back from being truly successful.

But don’t panic, there is a way to conquer these fears, and what better time to start than this New Year.

Here are my top 10 fast acting tips for you to conquer your fear this year:

1. SEPARATE REALITY FROM PERCEPTION

See the reality of the situation for what it is. Be rational and get clear on the facts. Soul search and explore your perception of the situation at hand.

2. IDENTIFY THE TRIGGER

Isolate the specific aspects of the situation that trigger your fearful thoughts. What’s the worst that could happen? Change the way you look at these triggers and you will immediately change the way you react.

3. KNOW WHERE FEAR LIVES IN YOUR BODY

Be in tune with where your fear lives in your body. Use it as an indicator to tell you when something needs to be addressed. What you are aware of you can act on.

4. BECOME AN OBSERVER

When you observe something, you do it from a detached place. So if you become an observer of your fear, then you’re not in it and reacting instinctively.

5. LISTEN TO YOUR INNER TALK

Monitor your inner conversations. When you hear negative self-talk, stop and change the script to positive talk. Keep repeating it.

6. CREATE A NEW ASSOCIATION

When you feel fear, conjure up a picture of something or someone you love. Keep repeating this and soon your brain will associate your fear trigger with something much more pleasurable.

7. CONSIDER THE WORST

Imagine the worst that can happen and come up with strategies that avoid or lessen the likelihood of it happening. What can you put in place to ensure that the worst-case scenario never happens?

8. LOOK AT THE GLASS HALF FULL

Perception is a very powerful thing. And how you feel about your situation dictates how you respond. So think positively and you’ll give yourself a much better chance of success.

9. LEARN HOW TO CREATE SPACE

Because fear happens in the emotional part of the brain, it’s natural to act instinctively. So when fear rises, break the fear cycle by stopping, creating space and breathing. This will give you time to calm down and allow your rational brain time to catch up.

10: MAKE IT SAFE

When you feel safe, there is no need for fear. One of the best ways to overcome fear is to create the safest environment possible. And that’s why it’s important to practice, practice and practice again.

Finally don’t let fear hold you back from reaching your goals and highest potential this year. If you’d like some extra support and inspiration to stay motivated and on track, why not sign up for my free downloadable One Big Gulp! Kit, which you will find at www.onebiggulp.com. Perseverance - An Attribute Of Success

When I logged into my messenger today one of my friends had send me a quote which read, “You never win the silver, you always loose the gold”

When I read this I was wondering what an attitude this quote just simplified. I could not just brush it off my mind as I started to contemplate on it. Generally people loose hope or confidence when they fail to meet a target. This quote can be simplified anyway way the reader wants to either positively or negatively. Taking it positively will only make the reader more aggressive in his next attempt as he will develop perseverance and more self confidence which will definitely drive him to win the gold. Negative thinkers will only fret and fume and use this quote to further cry over the spoiled milk.

How can we develop perseverance? Before discussing the ways and means to develop perseverance let us first know what perseverance really means. The great self help author Dale Carnegie in one of his books defines perseverance as something through which we can ‘develop success from failures’; he further says that failure and discouragement are the surest ways to success.

‘Victory belongs to the most persevering’ was what Napoleon Bonaparte felt and we all know about his courageous endeavors to win over the whole world. From time and again our teachers and parents never failed to develop our perseverance by quoting, ‘aim for the sky and you will at least reach the tree top’. There are many eminent personalities and successful people who had attained great heights in life because of their perseverance.

We all know the famous scientist Albert Einstein but how many know that he had learning disabilities. He hated going to school and was a drop out in his earlier age. But due to his determination he developed perseverance and became a great scientist who was known world wide. Many differently able people too like Beethoven, Helen Keller, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson etc developed perseverance and become successful in their respective fields.

Now let us come back to how to develop perseverance in our daily life? Everyday many incidents take place out of which some are inspirational and others are discouraging and detrimental to our mental disposition. How to deal with such situations and develop a strong character wherein we can develop perseverance in our lives? First of all attitude is everything in our lives, the right attitude will lead us in the right path and the negative attitude will definitely pull us down.

Surest ways to develop perseverance is collect and read inspiration stories about successful people whose determination and hard worked lead them to success. Always placing inspirational and motivating quotes around the work area or where it just visible constantly to catch your attention. You can attend self help seminars or get involved with social workers or groups who will increase and develop perseverance in your life. Always do not postpone things and be determined to always finish everything that you start as commitment and hard work can be the key to your success.

Building a strong character based on human values is also very imperative as this will instill patience and endurance. Do not be judgmental and always be calm and never complain. Perseverance is nothing but never giving up. Try again and again until you get the desired changes. Let not failures discourage you and do not allow success to get on your head. Live a balanced life and always remember the words of Charley Taylor, ‘work hard and give it your best shot; never be a quitter’.

Only cowards will blame others and the circumstances for their failures in life. Brave people usually learn from their failures and develop perseverance and determination to work much harder and never give up until they succeed. Growing from experiences in real life is a great tutor much greater than any university degree. Successful people never look back at what they lost but move forward with what they have.

Don’t fret and fume at what you do not have, make use of the resources in hand to come up in life. Many people will just wait for an opportunity to knock their doors but that never happens, you have to go hunting for better opportunities that life is abundant with. Miracles never happen on their own until we are aware of their presence and pull them down.

Broke and Depressed to Fit and Successful

This interview is an excerpt from Kevin Gianni’s Fountain of Youth Summit, which can be found at http://fountainofyouthworldsummit.com. In this excerpt, Donna Krech shares her story of going from broke and depressed to fit and successful.

The Fountain of Youth World Summit with Donna Krech writer, speaker and “belief builder.”

Kevin: This is going to be a lot of fun and I don’t like to waste any time, so let us get right into it. Why don’t you tell us a little bit about your story and why you are here on the phone now.

Donna: Here’s the situation. I have always been a pretty motivated person, as far as, if I saw something I wanted, I would have the inspiration or at least the aspiration to go after it, and I would get involved in success seminars or company training programs or, who knows, new fitness programs, weight loss programs, budgeting plans, whatever! And would be completely motivated about it and then would look up a few days later only to find that I wasn’t working on it anymore. Well, some time would pass, I would find the next thing and I would be totally jazzed and this time this is going to be it, this was going to be my wealth building planner, this was going to be the one that got my body ripped or whatever the case was, and I would look up a few days later and guess what? I wasn’t motivated again. I had just stopped and what we will talk about a little bit later on the call is I figured out how to figure out what was going on, what was zapping my motivation.

First of all, that the motivation was getting zapped and then what was zapping it and, more importantly, how to make it ongoing and never ending, but as far as the overall story goes, I was raised in a family with seven children. My father was an alcoholic. My mom was the breadwinner and she was in sales. Shocker! And I found myself in 1982 pushing a baby stroller in Midland, Texas. They weren’t paved roads, they were bumpy gravel and I am pushing my baby in the stroller and I am walking to a carryout to buy her milk and I can hear the change jingling in my pocket and I am sobbing, just sobbing out loud as I am pushing her because I know it’s the last money I have on earth, and I am wondering how I am going to feed her the next time she is hungry. That is probably the worst feeling anybody can ever have, and now the blessing of that feeling though is that it changed me. As I am sobbing not knowing what I am going to do, somewhere in the back of my mind, because I will tell you I don’t remember identifying it at that moment, but somewhere in the back of my mind I said, “This is not going to happen anymore.”

I will tell you that I wasn’t just penniless, I was also married, unfortunately, to someone who had a lot of addictions and those addictions went all the way to extremes. When I was depressed, when I put her to bed at 7:30 at night, I would go to bed at 7:30 at night and I know what that is like to be overweight. I was overweight, I was depressed, I had no money and as time moved on and I came back to Ohio and started with a part-time job, went to a fulltime job, went into management, went into sales, went into business ownership. With every level that I moved up, I found how to maintain motivation better, the sizes were dropping and I was making more and more money and I am still humbled and I do not know how many times I have said this to people, but I still find it all-inspiring when I can say to you out loud that by the age of 33, I was an American millionaire and today, I own multiple companies. We have about eight thriving companies.

Kevin: Wow! That’s fantastic. And, you know, I think a lot of the people who are listening can identify with the depression, some of the feelings of hopelessness that you had, and I think that even in terms of, not even in terms of just wealth, but in terms of their health, and what can you say to some of these people who are in that situation right now that maybe what…maybe give some examples of what you used to get yourself out of that.

Donna: Oh, boy! You know what, the very first step I took is I got around some people who are going to speak some life into me, and I got around some people, now certainly this call and the series of calls is a great place to start. Also, just getting around people who will speak life into you and that means going to where they are, so you and I both know that could mean a fitness club, it could be joining a personal development group, getting around family who is positive, maybe you’ve gotten away from them and kind of getting away from the negative forces in your life, that’s the first thing that I did and from there, we began to go through how to build motivation by defeating what I love to call the motivation assassinators because they’re out there and we’re not aware that they’re out there, but once we’re aware that they’re out there, Kevin, it’s literally magical because that’s how I changed everything. I began to build on the storehouses that keep motivation going and growing; and therefore, I never have to go get re-motivated again.

Kevin: OK.

Donna: Too often, we have to go get re-motivated, so when you understand how to build motivation on an ongoing basis, then the moment the motivation starts to dwindle, you can instantly identify what is going on and you can defeat the motivation assassinators and go right back into building again. So, I would say the overall answer, what I personally did was I started with my surroundings and I started with what was being spoken into me, that it might be building and improving your focus. What do you want? Why do you want it? It might mean learning how to change your belief, which we will talk about a little bit later, but it may be identifying that you’ve got some habits that need some altering or emotional reactions that need to be turned into emotional responses. Mine was surroundings. It could be time management. It could just be in this world we live in. We’re so doggone busy that we don’t realize that what you talked about was like depression. You don’t realize that you’re so doggone busy, it’s feeding the depression. These things are so intricately tied together that when you begin to build never-ending motivation and defeat the motivation assassinators, you start overcoming all kinds of other obstacles because things are so intricately “tied together,” so whether it’s weight loss, whether it’s fitness, which is the industry that I’ve been in and all our brick and mortar locations since 1982, it could also be success, making money, building relationships, which is the speaking and writing that I do. The stuff, the secret stuff that works is the same stuff no matter what the category.

Kevin: Yeah, that’s fantastic! Now, isn’t it hard to change your environment?

Donna: You know, it is one step at a time. We can be tied to people that…or the attitudes of those people because we think there’s a sense of security there. Somebody who has really applied the never-ending motivation concept, as a matter of fact, was involved in a relationship that was very unhealthy and, I mean, she had become completely unfit, she was making no money and she was in a company that had just unending income potential for the position that she was in. I mean, she just found herself so down and when she started studying never-ending motivation, she realized that her surroundings were the real thing that was bringing everything else down, and she just started taking a step and I’ll tell you quite frankly, she didn’t shift it all overnight. She identified it first, and then she took one little step of starting to add some more positives in her life. She did not just get rid of that negative overnight. She just began to add a piece of positives and she got involved in a personal development program. She got headed back to the gym again. She started pouring some good stuff in her mind for her sales position with work and started hanging around people that were already being successful and it just kind of began to happen, it began to build. She didn’t do it all at one time, so I think the hard part is not adding the good stuff, I think the hard part is letting go of the bad stuff.

Kevin: OK.

Donna: And so, we need to add something good realizing that you really don’t get rid of habits, you replace them, and so you replace the ones that aren’t so good with good ones. Well, the same thing is true with surroundings, as you begin to add more good into your life. There just isn’t room for the not so good anymore.

Kevin: Right. And in your opinion, how strong is the relationship between your health and the relationships and your interactions with people and other things around you?

Donna: Crucial. It’s crucial. I think that if you want to be ultimately fit and at at-a- goal weight and, you know, live until 120 years old of age, I think that you…law of attraction, you know, you want to talk about where you are as if you’re already there, and in that where-you-are statement is everything that you want including your health. Well, you need to be hanging around people who get that, who talk that way as well. You needn’t think about your goal everyday. The thing that is so inspiring to me and this is why I do what I do, you know, people have said, “Gosh, you’re on weight loss, you’re in fitness and there aren’t a lot of people that are in both,” and “Oh my Gosh! You’re in personal development too, Donna, you know, isn’t that complicated?” You know what, Kevin? To me, it’s a no-brainer. Those three match so intricately that whether you want my help with building your business, growing an empire, making more money or getting down to a size 4 if you’re a woman, I can do that because they’re all tied together so much. They just match. If I’m hanging around the people who get again, for example, law of attraction or if I am speaking that way, if I am focused on my goals, people who achieve fitness goals and who achieve money goals or success goals, think about it. They are of a disciplined mindset. If you have a disciplined mindset to achieve one goal, it just became about 300% easier to achieve another goal. So it’s just, it’s really a matter of which direction you put your attention at, but the character traits are the same no matter what the goal is. So, when you find somebody who has achieved a goal, I can take that person and literally help him achieve any goal they ever, ever wanted to achieve in their life because the disciplines and the attitudes and the beliefs, they are all foundational.

Cash Wealth Building System

Sometimes it seems like the world is divided into two types of people, those who have money and those who work for them.

Have you ever wondered what the rich have that you don’t? Are they smarter? Luckier? Do they work harder?

The answer is that they work less but their money works harder. In fact the truly wealthy have automatic wealth building systems in place.

But having a wealth building system isn’t all that seperates them from the rest of us. What sets them apart and helps them attract wealth day in and day out is their wealth mindset.

They truly believe that they deserve to be wealthy and they are confident in their knowledge that there is an abundance of wealth just waiting to be tapped into at a moment’s notice.

The good news is that this way of thinking is a learned behavior. This means that you can learn it, as well.

You see, over the years we build up ideas about money, wealth, work and a variety of other factors in our lives. Some of these beliefs are acquired from our parents and others from our own experiences.

Why Lottery Winners Lose it All

You have heard it time and again. Lottery Winners losing it all and trust fund babies wasting their parents’ hard earned cash. In fact, up to 80% of the lottery winners in this country file bankruptcy within five years. Most of us say,” That would never happen to me. You would have to be really dumb to lose all that money.” Yet the very reason that these individuals let their money run through their fingers is the very reason that most of us are still working pay check to paycheck.

It is a lacking mindset that is responsible for our financial difficulties. Those with money that work their way up from the bottom or build the wealth they have easily, have the one thing that most of us lack - a million dollar mind set. All wealth begins with it and all wealth is maintained by cultivating this feeling of prosperity.

I would bet that most of us could compile a list of hundreds of things that we want. That sense of wanting means that we feel that we do not have these things. When we replace this wanting feeling with the sense of already having wealth, amazing things start to occur within our brains. We begin to come up with ways of having wealth instead of merely wishing and wanting it.

How do we create this million dollar mindset?

1) Think about being wealthy and write down any thoughts that come up.

Write down the objections that already play in your mind. Write down the excuses like. Ex. It takes money to make money. And write down all the things that you wish you could have if only…

2) Release on those thoughts. Let them go and keep letting them go until the negative emotions go away with them.

3) Replace negative thoughts with positive ones.

4) Fill your mind with the images of what you want and picture yourself already having them.

5) See yourself as you will be. Feel what you will feel. Add audio and even the things that you will smell when you reach that state. ex. the type of perfume you might wear, the sound of bankers begging to give you loans, the feel of silk upon your skin, etc…

6) Keep releasing your negative emotions and thoughts until you have what you have been wanting all these years.

7) Act upon the incredible ideas that your subconscious shares with you fearlessly.

Once that limiting belief grabs hold, it affects every action you take and every action that you hesitate to take. So the second half of the answer is that you need to let these limiting wealth beliefs go and replace them with positive abundant beliefs.

You need to truly understand that money is meant to work for you and not the other way around.

Overcoming negative thought patterns is not as difficult as it may seem. The way to step away from paychecks and into the realm of the wealthy starts with examining your thinking so that you can understand why you have made the choices about money that you have made in the past and change those choices in the future.
